We are a member of the Florida State Authorization Reciprocity Agreement (FL-SARA), which facilitates the delivery of distance education by Florida institutions.  FL SARA ensures consistent consumer protection practices for students engaged in distance learning activities.  FL SARA is located in the Department of Education building, Tallahassee.

Daytona College is accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges, ACCSC,  2101 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA 22201.  ACCSC is a recognized accrediting agency by the United States Department of Education.

Daytona College has been recognized by ACCSC as a 2005, 2009, and 2014-15 School of Distinction.

The Nursing, Associate of Science Degree program has successfully achieved initial accreditation with the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).

We are licensed to offer the Associate of Science Degree in Nursing and the Practical Nursing Diploma programs by Florida Board of Nursing,

We are approved to offer the Therapeutic Massage Diploma program by the Florida Board of Massage.

We follow the criteria set forth by the Department of Business and Professional Regulation to offer Barber Styling/Cosmetology and Full Specialist with Spa Services.

National Healthcare Association

The Daytona College Medical Billing and Coding (MBC) program is recognized by the National Healthcare Association and students will qualify for the Certified Billing and Coding Specialist (CBCS) and Certified Electronic Health Record Specialist (CEHRS) examination(s) upon graduating.

In addition, graduates from our Medical Assisting programs will qualify for the EKG Technician Certification (CET) and Phlebotomy Technician Certification (CPT) examinations upon graduating from either the Associate of Science or Medical Assisting Diploma programs.

CareerSource Flagler Volusia

We are an approved service provider by CareerSource Flagler Volusia as a part of the Workforce Investment Opportunity Act.

CareerSource Flagler Volusia provides recruitment-related services, human resource information and training opportunities to business and job seekers in our community. Our services are funded through various public and private sources. American Medical Technologists

The Daytona College Medical Assisting program is recognized by the American Medical Technologists (AMT) and students will qualify for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) certification examination upon graduating from our Medical Assisting program.
