This course will educate on the Location of reflex points in the hands and feet, and techniques and procedures to effectively palpate these reflexes on one-self and others. The course will also review the physiological systems of the body, and the role reflexology plays in maintaining optimum functioning of these systems and the homeostatic imbalances that can occur in the human body and how to design a reflexology session to address those conditions. Uncovering your strongest appeal as a reflexologist, and developing successful, ethical marketing strategies to create a unique, viable healthcare business

Positional release therapy will teach how to execute an evaluation and treatment procedures. Professional Ethics, Medical Errors, and The Florida Laws and Rules Governing Massage Therapy – CE Credits – 6 hours

The Florida Laws and Rules Governing Massage Therapy course will cover chapters 480, 64B7 and 456. This course will fully discuss all laws and rules to inform students of their expectations as massage therapists.

Professional Ethics is a course based on the ethics and boundaries massage therapists should use in their daily lives and massage practice. This course includes a code of ethics from the NCBTMB and tools to solve ethics dilemmas.

Learn the basics of preventing the occurrence of errors. This class will encompass different types of errors, personal mindset goals, actions and processing to overcome errors.

 

Sports Massage – CE Credits – 4 hours

Sports massage will improve massage therapists ability to work with athletes and sports injuries. This course will cover relevant anatomy and physiology, muscle fatigue, benefits and contraindications of sports massage. Sports massage techniques will be taught for both before an athletic event as well as after. Massage therapist will also become proficient in stretching, joint limitations, common sports injuries and exercises for rehabilitations and maintenance.
